I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007and in 2017 I underwent treatment for an ocular melanoma.   As is the case with all cancer survivors, those events were life-changing.  I was very fortunate... the cancers were discovered early and because of innovations in research and treatment, I am cancer free.  I am committed to supporting cancer patients through advocacy, education, and funding for cancer research.  I was given a gift in 2007 and again ten years later. I would like to give that gift to others who are facing this horrible disease.

 

Five percent of each order will be donated to the V Foundation for Cancer Research, which was founded in memory of Jim Valvano, former basketball coach at North Carolina State University who lost his battle with cancer in 1993.  

 

When I was diagnosed in 2007, my oncologist told me, "Patti, we are so close to finding a cure."  I am convinced that with each drawing, we will be one step closer.
